Research Required for Enrollment in HRDC Training Program

3. What are the tuition costs?
The total cost of our program is indicated on your acceptance letter. Prices Range from $3,000 to $16,000 depending on the options taken

4. Are books/material etc included?
Yes the total tuition includes books, materials, supplies.

  • How accessible is school by transit:
    Maverick Solutions is right on the Yonge St. subway line, we are one stop south of Finch Subway
    station, and one stop North of the Sheppard Centre. North York City Centre is our location. Parking spots are available throughout the area.

6. Is the school registered as a private vocational schools, authorized by industry or registered by MET.
No, However we are authorized to issue educational tax receipts. Maverick is exempt from the Ministry of Training Colleges & Universities registration.

7. Size of Class: How many students per class?
Our class sizes are small.

8. How many students in class, per teacher? If you use computers, are you required to share computers?
Our class sizes are small per instructor. Each student has his or her own workstation.

9. Is the school approved to issue taxation receipts (T2202A forms)?
Yes we are.

12. What is the type of instruction used?
Our classes are full instructor led program with a combination of lectures, plus demonstrations and hands on exercise throughout.

13. # Of hours per week?
40 hours of instructor led training per week plus 9 additional practice hours per week. Post Grad practice can be scheduled. (please see the acceptance letter for full details).

14. Weekly schedule of classes?
Monday - Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., practice hours after 4:00 p.m. (see the acceptance letter proposal) Breaks are given throughout the day, including lunch.

15. Length of program in weeks.

16. How often does program start?
Depending on the program, every 2 or 4 weeks.

17. Is the program curriculum fixed, or is it possible to develop an individual plan?
Our MultiCAD layout allows the student to select and concentrate on their particular area of interest.

18. What are the entry requirements of the program?
None.

19. How are the marks calculated?
There are no marks given. Upon completion of courses students will receive a certificate that states:
"The student has successfully completed the course" this is based on attendance, in-class assignments and exercises.

20. What grade mark is required to graduate from the program?
Please see # 19 (same as above).

21. If you disagree with a mark/grade, is there an appeal process? If yes, describe.
Not Applicable, Please see # 19.

22. Upon completion of the program, will you receive a diploma, certificate? If you require certification, are your exams fees included in your tuition cost?
Yes, upon completion students will receive a certificate as mentioned above in # 19, however, there are no exams given.

23. What are the instructor's qualifications?
Dassault/ IBM accredits our instructors.

24. How does the school decide what to teach?
Our material used is based on authorized Dassault and Autodesk curriculum with enhanced Maverick exercises.

25. Does the program involve guest speakers from industry, and /or field trips?
No.

26. How long has the school been offering this program?
12 years.

27. What is the school's reputation with employers in the industry?
Excellent, we are well known in the training industry. We have trained employees from companies such as Daimler Chrysler, Pratt & Whitney, Boeing and Honda.

28. What kind of employment would this program prepare you for?
The jobs that a person would be qualified for after taking these course is a CAD Designer and/ or Mechanical Design Engineer in the Manufacturing and/or Engineering Industry

29. Is job placement a part of the program?
Yes, Maverick Solutions has a job success rate of approximately 95% for our graduating students with placements in many of the major automotive and aerospace firms across Canada and US.

30. Is there job search assistance provide?
Yes, Maverick Solutions Inc. will provide students a list of agencies and company names that are looking for CATIA skilled personnel. Job search workshops are delivered and there are additional post graduate practice and pre-employment preparation days.

31. Have you contacted current students or graduates of the program? What have they said of the program?
A list of past graduates who recommend Maverick Solutions for CATIA training will be provided upon request.

32. Are there any special accommodations you require to complete the program?
None. Our offices, classrooms and washrooms are wheelchair and physically-challenged accessible."

33. What the Physical facilities like?
Maverick Solutions provides a clean work environment for our students. Workstations and materials provided are up to date and running parallel to Dassault and Autodesk qualifications
